Welcome to the website of the African Journal of Climate Law and Justice (AJCLJ), the pioneering peer reviewed journal that focuses on building knowledge and scholarship on diverse legal and policy issues within states in the African continent as climate change and response measures increase globally. In the main, the AJCLJ aims to contribute towards strengthening African scholarship and voices on climate change law and justice. It welcomes manuscripts based on diverse methodologies including comparative law approach and diverse theoretical contexts relevant to its focus.
This is the maiden edition of the AJCLJ and will presently appear annually without interruption. The full text of the AJCLJ is made freely available online immediately upon publication. The AJCLJ is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
